Great event at over the air

For those of your that want Simonmaddoxs 0870 application for your Blackberry, Samsung, Nokia or LG Java enabled phone using LWUIT, this was put together during the night, so might be a little rough round the edges, so would welcome feedback via comments please

You can download it here with your phones browser http://kgutteridge.co.uk/0870.jad

If you want to just bluetooth it onto your phone http://kgutteridge.co.uk/0870.jar, Blackberry users please use your browser though

Have fun!

Works on the BlackBerry 9000 (Bold). It requests permission to access the API via an IP address – shouldn’t it be via the domain name, incase the server gets moved?

Other than that – it works very well.

Thanks for the feedback Terence, unfortunately the domain 0870.me would not work on certain devices, I am mapping fix0870.co.uk onto the server and will update the client with a couple of other improvements as well soon!

Sadly does not work on a Nokia N96 – try to install and get an error on the handset ‘compulsory attributes missing’

Thanks for the feedback Henry, I have just removed the whitespace from the Jad which should hopefully resolve your problem
